Post to Threads from Claude
Claude cannot reach Threads by itself. Connect Blotato's MCP server once and it can publish posts, threads, image posts, video to Threads from a plain prompt. One hosted endpoint, no developer app, no copy-paste.
This one publishes. Search "Threads MCP server" and you get two different kinds of tool: scrapers that read public Threads data, and publishers that put a post live on your own account. Blotato is the second kind, on Threads's official API, not browser automation.

How to post to Threads with Claude
- Connect your Threads account. Sign in to Blotato and connect Threads through the normal login flow. Blotato holds the tokens and refreshes them, so this is the last time you think about auth.
- Add the MCP server to Claude. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, then add a
custom connector pointing at
https://mcp.blotato.com/mcp. Claude Code and Cowork take the same URL. - Ask Claude to post. Write it the way you would say it out loud: "Post this to Threads and reply to it with the source link." Claude calls the publish tool and Blotato puts the post live.

Why not just build it against the Threads API?
The Threads API is newer than the rest and uses the same container-then-publish pattern as Instagram, so it behaves unlike the simple text endpoints people expect.
You can absolutely build it yourself, and if Threads is the only network you will ever post to, that is a reasonable call. The trade shows up at the second platform: every network has its own auth model, its own upload flow, and its own review process, and they change on their own schedules. Blotato is one endpoint across nine of them, at a flat price that does not move when you post more.
If you would rather own that layer yourself, we wrote up the honest tradeoff between open-source and managed posting APIs, and our roundup of social media MCP servers covers the alternatives, including the ones that only draft rather than publish.
Who is already running this
These are Blotato customers describing their own agent and API setups, in their own words.
Now I use Blotato together with n8n to automate social media posts, both for my business and my personal accounts. It makes the whole process incredibly simple. You upload your content to one platform, Blotato, and it takes care of the rest. That alone saves me more than 10 hours every month.

I have tried many of the scheduling methods from hoot suite to later. Given ADD and detail overwhelm I didn't have success with them. Sabrina is a genius with a clear no nonsense approach and Blotato is like a Lamborghini. Admittedly I am still in first gear. However, even in first gear it is amazing! but I know that there are other gears. Before Blotato, my ideas felt like an endless storm. Blotato has been a total game-changer. It's taken all the chaos in my head and helped me turn it into something clear and actionable. With Blotato, I've been able to draft plans, create content, and actually finish projects. By tweaking the prompts and letting it guide me, I've found ways to connect my ideas that I couldn't articulate before.
