SuperProfile vs Manychat: Which Wins for Social Media Sales?
SuperProfile vs Manychat: one hosts the product your social media DMs sell, the other runs deeper DM flows. Prices, fees and AI agents compared.
SuperProfile vs Manychat is a choice between two ways to turn Instagram comments into sales. SuperProfile hosts the product your DM links to, from a downloadable guide to a course or a paid community, and sends the DM. Manychat builds the conversation and hands buyers to a checkout or store you already run.
This comparison is for creators whose posts already pull comments and who want those comments to become revenue. A creator selling a first guide needs somewhere to host and deliver it. A creator already selling through Kajabi or Shopify mostly needs the DM funnel.
A note on bias before the details. I founded Blotato, which sells Instagram and Facebook DM automation with no store or checkout attached, so it competes with both tools on the DM side only.
SuperProfile vs Manychat: Decide by Where the DM Sends People
Start with the link your best Reel would put in a DM. If there is nothing behind it yet, SuperProfile’s paid plan gives you the product page, the file delivery and the auto-DM for one monthly price. If it already opens a store, a course platform or a booking page you pay for elsewhere, SuperProfile’s store may duplicate tools you already pay for.
Then list where your audience writes to you. SuperProfile automates Instagram and Facebook Messenger. If WhatsApp, TikTok or SMS belong on that list, or you want a conversation that asks several questions in a row and routes people by their answers, Manychat covers that and SuperProfile does not.
What SuperProfile Puts Behind the DM
SuperProfile is run by Cosmofeed Technologies, a company based in Gurugram, India. Its paid Creator plan bundles a link-in-bio store, digital product sales with file delivery, courses, 1:1 bookings, webinars, paid Telegram and Discord communities, email to buyers and Auto-DM. The DM’s job is to move a commenter into that store.

How you get paid depends on where you live. In India, creators sell through SuperProfile’s own checkout after KYC, with payouts to their bank account the next day and a 5% fee per sale, according to its about page. Creators outside India connect their own Stripe or PayPal, get paid by it directly and pay SuperProfile no platform fee. So outside India, what SuperProfile adds is the store itself, not the payment rails.
Auto-DM covers comments on posts and Reels on every plan. The Creator plan adds Story replies, Live comment replies, replies to DM keywords, an ask-to-follow step and email capture into Kit, Mailchimp or Klaviyo. Its follow-ups react to what the person did, firing after a delay, when a link goes unclicked, when there is no reply, or when a product was or was not bought, all within 23 hours of the person’s message.

The ask-to-follow step deserves a pause on any tool. Meta’s spam policy lists “Requiring or claiming that users are required to engage with content (e.g., liking, sharing) before they are able to view or interact with promised content.” A separate line in the same policy, filed under deceptive links and landing pages, names follows among the engagement that “like/share-gating” covers. Decide whether a few extra followers are worth that tension before you make a follow the price of a free guide.
How Manychat Turns a DM Into a Sale
Manychat sells inside the conversation rather than from a store page. Its Buy Button puts a checkout in Messenger and Instagram DMs, and you have to connect Stripe or PayPal before you can use it. Courses, downloads and booking pages stay in whatever tools you already use, and the DM links out to them.
What Manychat builds is the conversation. Its visual builder branches on answers and conditions, and its channel list covers Instagram, Messenger, TikTok, Telegram, WhatsApp, SMS and email, depending on the plan.

What Each Free Plan Lets You Test
SuperProfile’s pricing page lists the free Starter plan with unlimited auto-DMs on posts and Reels, up to 3 keyword triggers, a link-in-bio store and 10 lead magnet responses. The same page marks Story and Live replies, follow-ups, the follow and email steps, and selling as Creator features. Its Auto-DM page disagrees on two of those, listing ask-to-follow and email collection on the free plan, so check inside the app before you build around them.
Manychat’s Free plan includes 25 Active Contacts a month, up to 4 live automations and one user, and it shows a “Powered by Manychat” branding message. Its Essential and Pro plans come with a 14-day free trial instead.
So the two free plans fail in different places. SuperProfile’s keeps answering a busy Reel but stops at 10 captured leads and cannot sell. Manychat’s caps you at 25 people a month with no overage option, so a Reel that draws a few dozen commenters outgrows it.
Channels and Branching Stay Manychat’s Edge
Manychat supports seven channels. Free and Essential connect any two of Instagram, TikTok, Messenger and Telegram. Pro connects three and unlocks WhatsApp, SMS and email, and Business and Advanced connect all of them.
Its builder is where a funnel gets clever. A DM can ask a question, tag the answer and send people down different paths, and Pro adds Manychat AI, which is labeled beta. Mindvalley’s masterclass flow, which branches between signing up and learning more and asks about each person’s goals, is one of several Manychat funnels I broke down. Manychat also offers a Follow to DM trigger for new followers, also in beta, where Meta decides which accounts qualify.
SuperProfile’s own Manychat comparison says Manychat is the better choice when “You need WhatsApp or TikTok automation, or a large visual flow builder, and you already sell through your own Stripe or PayPal.” SuperProfile’s messages can carry up to 3 buttons that each send one reply when tapped, but its docs say a reply cannot carry another of those buttons, so routing stops one step deep.
Manychat lists 2 users on Essential and up to 10 on Advanced, and its Inbox seats grow from 1 on Essential to as many as 10 on Advanced, so a team can share the inbox on the higher plans. SuperProfile’s Creator plan connects up to 5 Instagram accounts, which suits one creator running several brands.
Letting Claude or ChatGPT Build the Automations
On letting an AI assistant build the automations, SuperProfile is ahead of Manychat. It runs a hosted MCP server that Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other assistants connect to over OAuth. You can ask for “a draft automation for my latest Reel that sends my guide when someone comments GUIDE,” review the draft, and then publish it yourself or let the assistant activate it if you granted that permission.
An MCP initialize call to the endpoint without credentials returns a 401 sign-in challenge, which is how a live, protected server answers. Its published tool list includes prepare_automation, save_automation_draft, activate_automation and get_analytics, and drafting, publishing and deleting are separate permissions. The same server also manages its products, courses, bookings and webinars, so one assistant session can set up the guide and the DM that delivers it.

Manychat works in the other direction. Its Claude integration lets a Manychat flow send a prompt to Claude through your own Anthropic API key, so Claude answers inside the flow. Its public API, on Pro and up, can list your flows and send one to a contact, but nothing in it creates or edits a flow, and Manychat documents no MCP server. My Manychat API walkthrough maps what the API can reach.
SuperProfile’s Intro Offer and What You Pay After It
SuperProfile’s prices below were read on October 6, 2026. Its US pricing opens on monthly billing, and the India view lists rupee prices with no yearly option:
| SuperProfile plan | US, billed monthly | US, billed yearly | India, billed monthly | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | Free | Free | Free | Auto-DMs on posts and Reels, 3 keyword triggers, 10 lead responses, link-in-bio store |
| Creator | $4.99 first month, then $29 a month | $299 a year | ₹99 first month, then ₹499 a month | Story, Live and DM replies, follow-ups, unlimited leads, selling, up to 5 Instagram accounts |
| Pro | Custom | Custom | Custom | Removes SuperProfile branding, custom landing pages, dedicated growth and ads managers |
The $4.99 is a first-month offer, not the price. Paid monthly, Creator costs $323.99 in the first year and $348 a year after that. The yearly plan works out to about $24.92 a month.

Manychat bills by Active Contacts, the people you interact with each month. On monthly billing, its pricing page charges $17 on Essential (250 contacts), $39 on Pro (2,500), $99 on Business (7,500) and $199 on Advanced (25,000) for accounts opened since March 2, 2026. Each extra person past a plan’s pool is billed as overage, and older accounts are moving to this ladder country by country, as my Manychat cost breakdown by contact count explains.

SuperProfile’s Creator plan lists auto-DMs as unlimited with no contact meter. If 2,500 people interact with your DMs in a month, Manychat’s cheapest fit is Pro at $39, since Essential plus overage at $0.10 a contact would run $242, while SuperProfile Creator stays at $29 after the first month.

Blotato When Your Products Already Live Elsewhere
Blotato fits the creator whose guide, course or store already exists and who wants one AI agent to publish the Reel and answer the comments it draws. Its API and MCP server publish and schedule to 9 platforms, and the same key creates the keyword DM automation for that exact post. SuperProfile’s site and MCP tool list describe no post scheduler, and Manychat is built around the inbox rather than your feed.
Eight of its MCP tools handle DM automation, from blotato_create_automation to blotato_get_automation_analytics, and a new automation is saved as a draft unless you switch it on when you create it.

What Blotato gives up:
- No store, checkout or course hosting, so the DM has to link somewhere you already sell.
- Instagram and Facebook only, and only replies to someone who wrote or commented first.
- One message per automation, after optional follow and email steps in a fixed order, with no branching and no follow-up step in its docs.
- A private reply only. Manychat can also post a public reply under the comment, while on Blotato that takes a separate comment call from your agent.
Blotato meters DM automation by Active Contacts too, with 1,000 a month on the $29 Starter plan, 6,000 on the $97 Creator plan and 15,000 on the $499 Agency plan, so it is not the cheap way to run DMs alone. If an agent will drive it, skip the 7-day trial, which stays inside the web app with no API or MCP access.

Count What Each Choice Leaves You Buying
Each tool leaves a gap you would pay to fill elsewhere. Pick SuperProfile and you give up WhatsApp, TikTok and multi-step question flows, which SuperProfile does not offer at any tier. Pick Manychat and you still need a home for the product, whether that is Kajabi, Gumroad, Calendly or a site you run. If you already sell from a store or course platform and need multi-step flows, more channels or a shared inbox, Manychat’s deeper DMs are the better buy, and if you have nothing to sell from yet, SuperProfile fills that gap for one plan.
SuperProfile vs Manychat FAQs
Is SuperProfile free?
Yes. SuperProfile’s pricing page lists a free Starter plan with auto-DMs on posts and Reels, up to 3 keyword triggers, 10 lead magnet responses and a link-in-bio store. The same page puts Story and Live replies, follow-ups and selling on the Creator plan, which costs $4.99 for the first month and $29 a month after that outside India.
Is SuperProfile an Indian company?
Yes. SuperProfile is run by Cosmofeed Technologies Private Limited, based in Gurugram, India. Cosmofeed was founded in September 2021 by Vivek Yadav and Vishnu Pathak, launched SuperProfile in February 2023 and had raised $1.5 million in seed funding by then. It sells to creators worldwide, with separate prices and payment rules for India.
Is SuperProfile safe to connect to Instagram?
SuperProfile says it connects through Meta login and Meta’s official messaging API, with no password or scraping involved, and its homepage says Meta has certified it as a Verified Tech Provider. Meta’s messaging windows and spam rules still apply to every automation it sends. Customer sentiment is a separate question, and as of October 2026 SuperProfile holds a 4.2 rating on Trustpilot.
Does SuperProfile take a cut of my sales?
Not outside India. Global creators connect their own Stripe or PayPal, get paid directly and pay no platform fee. Creators in India sell through SuperProfile’s own checkout and pay 5% per sale. A 10% figure quoted in some reviews matches a plan list on SuperProfile’s help center that does not match its current pricing page.
Does SuperProfile work with WhatsApp or TikTok?
No. SuperProfile’s Auto-DM covers Instagram and Facebook Messenger, and its own Manychat comparison names WhatsApp and TikTok automation as reasons to pick Manychat. Its Telegram and Discord features are paid communities, not DM automation.
