8 Best Claude Connectors for Social Media (2026)
The best Claude connectors for social media compared on publishing, scheduling, inbox tools, pricing and Anthropic's review label.
The best Claude connectors for social media are Blotato, Metricool, Typefully, Buffer, Post Bridge, Postiz, Zernio and Upload-Post. All eight document a tool Claude can call to publish or schedule posts, and each carries an Anthropic label showing how closely it was reviewed. My top pick is Blotato, for an agent running 7 to 20 accounts that also works the Instagram and Facebook inbox. It is a Custom connector Anthropic hasn’t reviewed, and it is my own product, so factor both into my #1.
| Connector | Directory tier | Best for | Cheapest plan with connector access | When Claude says "post it" |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Blotato | Custom (added by URL) | Agents working Instagram and Facebook comments and DMs across 7 to 20 accounts on one flat bill | $29/mo Starter (the trial excludes the connector) | Blotato publishes now or schedules, with no draft mode. |
| Metricool | Verified | Creators who want a free start on a Verified connector | $0 Free plan (no LinkedIn or X) | Metricool publishes right away, at a set time, or at your best time. |
| Typefully | Verified | Writers posting text to X, LinkedIn, Threads and Bluesky | $0 Free plan (its Claude guide asks for Claude Pro or Max) | Typefully's listing says nothing goes live immediately unless you confirm it. |
| Buffer | Community | Teams already running a Buffer queue | $0 Free plan (3 channels) | Buffer adds the post to your queue by default, or shares it now. |
| Post Bridge | Community | Short-form video creators who also post to Google Business | $39/mo Marketer (15 accounts) | Post Bridge publishes now unless Claude passes a time, and can hold a draft for review. |
| Postiz | Community | Builders who want open source and the option to self-host | $29/mo Standard, or self-host the free software | Postiz schedules, drafts or publishes now, set by one field. |
| Zernio | Community | Developers running a few accounts who want posting, inbox and ads on one endpoint | $0 for your first 2 accounts | Zernio schedules the post 60 minutes out unless Claude says otherwise. |
| Upload-Post | Custom (added by URL) | Up to five brands posting to 22 listed platforms, with DMs on Instagram only | $0 Free plan (10 uploads a month) | Upload-Post uploads now or queues the post for a set date. |
Verified, Community or Custom: What the Badge Tells You
Every social connector you add to Claude falls into one of three tiers, and once connected, a Community connector “has the same capabilities and access as any connector you grant,” per Anthropic’s connector verification page. The labels mean:
- Verified. “Anthropic has tested a Verified connector’s tools for quality and compatibility,” though it “isn’t a security audit or a guarantee of how the connector will perform.”
- Community. “Anthropic screens Community connectors before listing them but hasn’t reviewed them in depth.” Claude shows a reminder before you connect one.
- Custom. “You added a Custom connector yourself, and Anthropic hasn’t reviewed it.” Custom connectors are never suggested in chat, and the Free plan allows one.
- What no badge tells you. Whether the publish tool posts now, schedules, or saves a draft. Check each connector’s documented publishing modes.
For control over publishing itself, set any tool to Always allow, Needs approval, or Blocked under the connector’s tool permissions in Claude. One warning from Anthropic’s custom connector guide: during Research, “Claude can invoke tools from your connectors automatically without further approval.” If you don’t want Research to publish or schedule posts, block every tool that can before you start it.
Best Claude Connectors for Social Media
Blotato sits first for an agent that posts and also works the Instagram and Facebook inbox. Only Blotato and Zernio document comment and DM tools on both, and from 7 to 20 accounts Blotato’s $29 Starter costs less than Zernio’s account fees. After Blotato, the order follows Anthropic’s review: Verified first, then Community, then Custom.
1. Blotato - Best for agents working both Meta inboxes on one flat bill

Blotato is the connector I add when Claude runs 7 to 20 accounts on one flat bill, publishing to nine platforms and handling Instagram and Facebook comments, DMs and DM automation. You add the Blotato MCP server as a Custom connector at https://mcp.blotato.com/mcp and approve OAuth. Of its 36 documented tools, blotato_create_post publishes now or schedules when Claude passes a time, and blotato_get_post_status confirms it went live.
With no draft mode, set blotato_create_post to Needs approval to approve each publishing or scheduling call. Anthropic hasn’t reviewed it, and Claude won’t suggest it. The 7-day trial excludes the API and MCP, so plan on the Starter plan for connector access.
The claude.ai route above needs no key. In this walkthrough I use Claude Code with an API key instead, then have Claude draft, check and publish posts.
Pros:
- Nine platforms for posting, plus Instagram and Facebook comments, DMs and DM automation
- No per-post fees on any plan
Cons:
- Comments, DMs and DM automation cover Instagram and Facebook only
- Through the connector, analytics cover only X, Instagram, Facebook, Threads and Bluesky
- Starter posts to 3 TikTok accounts a day
Best for: Agents posting across 7 to 20 accounts that also answer Instagram and Facebook DMs.
Pricing: Starter $29/mo, with 20 social accounts and 1,000 active contacts a month across DMs and comment replies.
Free trial: 7 days, without the connector.
Bottom line: When your agent runs 7 to 20 accounts and works both the Instagram and Facebook inbox, Blotato’s $29 Starter covers them on one flat bill.
2. Metricool - Best for a free start on a Verified connector

Metricool’s connector is Verified, and its MCP “works with any Metricool plan, including the free account.” Its MCP FAQ says a post can go out “right away, schedule it for a specific date and time, or use the optimal time based on your account data.”
Pros:
- Its MCP also reads your Meta, Google and TikTok ad campaigns
- Best-time scheduling built from your own account data
Cons:
- Free excludes LinkedIn and X and caps scheduling at 20 posts a month
- None of its 27 MCP tools reads or answers comments and DMs
Best for: Trying a Verified connector at no cost, with Instagram and TikTok as your main channels.
Pricing: Free for one brand. Starter is $25/mo billed monthly for 5 brands, or $20/mo on annual billing.
Free trial: A free plan, no trial needed.
Bottom line: Start with Metricool if a Verified badge matters to you and LinkedIn and X can wait for a paid plan.
3. Typefully - Best for writers who want a confirm step

Typefully is Verified, and its listing states its safety rule outright: “Nothing goes live immediately unless you explicitly confirm it.” It covers X, LinkedIn, Substack, Threads, Bluesky and Mastodon, and Typefully’s own setup guide asks for a Claude Pro or Max plan.
Pros:
- Team comments on drafts
- Drafts land in Typefully with a realistic preview
Cons:
- No TikTok or YouTube, so it suits text-led accounts
- The free plan caps you at 10 posts a month
Best for: Text-first accounts on X, LinkedIn, Threads and Bluesky.
Pricing: Free plan includes the MCP. Creator is $99 a year, and Business is $20/mo per social set billed monthly, or $18 on annual billing.
Free trial: A free plan, no trial needed.
Bottom line: Typefully suits text-first writers who want a confirm step before anything goes live immediately.
4. Buffer - Best for teams already running a Buffer queue

Buffer is now a Community connector, and its Claude guide says you connect “using OAuth. No API key needed.” Its MCP guide documents 20 tools, and create_post “schedules or publishes a post on one channel,” with a shareNow mode for immediate posts. Buffer also notes that most MCP clients ask you to approve its write tools before they run.
Pros:
- Ideas and templates tools for planning, beyond posting
- Queue modes (
addToQueue,shareNext,customScheduled) plussaveToDraft
Cons:
- One channel per
create_postcall, so a cross-post is several calls - None of its 20 named MCP tools reads comments or DMs
Best for: An existing Buffer queue that Claude should keep full.
Pricing: Free for 3 channels with 1 API key. Essentials is $6/mo per channel billed monthly, or $5 on annual billing.
Free trial: 14 days on paid plans.
Bottom line: Buffer makes sense when your queue already lives in Buffer, and each extra channel adds $6 a month on monthly billing.
5. Post Bridge - Best for short-form video creators

Post Bridge is a Community connector that signs in with OAuth and no API key. Its MCP page says it has 16 tools, and its docs say to “Omit scheduled_at to publish immediately.” It covers 10 platforms, including Google Business.
Pros:
- MCP on every plan, plus a REST API
- Reads post analytics on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook
Cons:
- No free plan, only a trial
- No X threads or Threads chains
Best for: The same short video sent to TikTok, Reels and Shorts from one prompt.
Pricing: Marketer $39/mo for 15 accounts billed monthly, with 2 months free on yearly billing.
Free trial: 7 days.
Bottom line: Count your profiles first, because the $39 Marketer plan stops at 15 accounts.
6. Postiz - Best for builders who want open source

Postiz is an open-source option, listed in Claude’s directory as a Community connector. Its 13 tools include schedulePostTool, which can “schedule, draft, or immediately publish posts.” Every cloud plan includes the MCP server, and the self-hosted software is free, with hosting on you.
Pros:
- 32 to 34 platforms, depending on which Postiz doc you read
- One
schedulePostToolcall can add comments alongside the post
Cons:
- No comment reading or replies through the MCP, per its docs
- No free cloud plan, only a trial
Best for: Technical builders who want to own the stack.
Pricing: Standard $29/mo billed monthly for 5 channels, or $23/mo on annual billing. Self-hosting is free.
Free trial: 7 days on cloud plans.
Bottom line: Self-hosters get the whole stack, with 32 to 34 platforms to post to.
7. Zernio - Best for developers running a handful of accounts

Zernio is a Community connector with 496 tools over one endpoint, about 50 of them visible by default. It also builds comment-to-DM automations on Instagram and Facebook, and its pricing page lists messaging and comments on nine platforms each. If Claude calls posts_create without setting is_draft, publish_now or schedule_minutes, the post is scheduled 60 minutes out.
Pros:
- Posting, inbox, analytics and ads in one connection, with coverage varying by platform
- A dedicated
posts_publish_nowtool and a draft flag
Cons:
- X API calls pass through at X’s own rates
- Account fees reach $78 a month at 20 accounts, by Zernio’s own worked example
Best for: A few accounts that need posting, inbox and ads from one agent.
Pricing: First 2 accounts free, then $6/mo each for accounts 3 to 10 and $3 each from 11 to 100. X API calls, ads and messages past 10,000 a month are metered on top.
Free trial: A free tier for 2 accounts.
Bottom line: Small setups get the most from Zernio, since the first two accounts carry no account fee and the inbox reaches nine platforms.
8. Upload-Post - Best for creators who need 22 destinations

Upload-Post’s setup page tells Claude users to add it as a custom connector and sign in through OAuth, “no API key to paste.” Pricing counts profiles, and its pricing page says “A profile is one person or client, not one social account. Each profile connects one account per platform.” Its DM and AutoDM tools are documented for Instagram only, while its comments API covers Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok.
Pros:
- 22 platforms, including Google Business
- Its MCP works on the free tier
Cons:
- Custom tier, so Claude never suggests it
- DMs and AutoDM cover Instagram only
Best for: Up to five brands posting widely, with DMs on Instagram only.
Pricing: Free for 10 uploads a month on 2 profiles. Basic is $24/mo billed monthly for 5 profiles, or $16/mo on annual billing.
Free trial: A free plan, no trial needed.
Bottom line: For up to five brands posting widely that need DMs on Instagram only, Upload-Post’s $24 Basic costs less than Blotato’s Starter before add-ons.
Social Connectors I Left Off, and Why
Canva. Canva’s connector is Verified, and its listing reads “Search, create, autofill, and export Canva designs,” with no publishing.
Agorapulse. Agorapulse’s Community listing covers analytics and drafting posts and never mentions publishing or scheduling. Its help centre says the connector creates drafts only, a limit our pricing study of 58 social media tools also found at Sprout Social.
Hootsuite. Hootsuite’s Perch MCP is not in Claude’s directory. It can “draft posts, schedule at the best time,” but no Hootsuite page I read names the plans that include it.
Ayrshare. Ayrshare’s Action server publishes, but its setup page says a personal custom connector “cannot send a static Authorization header,” and points Claude users to Claude Code instead.
How I Compared These Claude Connectors
- Tier: each listing’s label in Claude’s connector directory.
- What “post it” does: each vendor’s MCP docs, including tool names, modes and defaults.
- Price: the cheapest plan with connector access, billed monthly unless noted.
This is a docs-based comparison, checked on October 5, 2026, against Anthropic’s connector docs and each vendor’s own pages. For a tool-by-tool look at whether each server finishes a post, see my ranked list of social media MCP servers.
Which Claude Connector Should You Choose for Social Media?
- If you post text to X, LinkedIn and Threads and want a confirm step before anything goes live immediately, Typefully fits.
- If you want a free, Verified start and your audience is on Instagram and TikTok, Metricool’s free plan works until you need LinkedIn or X.
- If your team already plans in Buffer, connect Buffer and let Claude fill the queue you already use.
- If your agent needs comments or DMs beyond Instagram and Facebook, Zernio’s pricing page lists comments and DMs on nine platforms each, where Blotato covers two.
- If you want to self-host or need a long-tail platform, Postiz lists 32 to 34 platforms and runs on your own server.
- If your agent runs 7 to 20 accounts and also answers Instagram and Facebook comments and DMs, Blotato covers them for $29 a month. Below seven, Zernio’s account fees cost less, and for Instagram DMs alone, Upload-Post does.
Where I’d Start
If you run 7 to 20 accounts and need Instagram and Facebook comments and DMs, start with Blotato. The full Claude setup for posting to social media walks through every platform.
Best Claude Connectors for Social Media FAQs
Which Claude connector is best for social media?
It depends on the job. Blotato is my pick if you run 7 to 20 accounts and need Instagram and Facebook comments and DMs alongside publishing. Metricool is the free Verified start, Typefully suits text-first writers who want a confirm step, and Zernio’s account fees cost less below seven accounts.
Can Claude post on social media?
Yes, through a connector. Blotato, Metricool, Buffer, Typefully, Post Bridge, Postiz, Zernio and Upload-Post all give Claude a tool that publishes or schedules posts. Claude on its own drafts text and stops. Add one connector under Customize, then Connectors, and Claude can post from the chat, subject to the tool permissions you set.
Does Claude have an Instagram or Facebook connector?
Yes, through a scheduler’s connector rather than one from Meta. I found no Meta-built connector in Anthropic’s Verified list on October 5, 2026. Most connectors on this list post to Instagram, and Blotato and Zernio both document posting, comment and DM tools for Instagram and Facebook.
Can I add a custom connector on Claude’s free plan?
Yes, one. Anthropic’s docs say “On the Free plan, you can add one custom connector.” Blotato and Upload-Post would use that slot, and Blotato itself needs its paid Starter plan. On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds custom connectors for the organization, and members then connect with their own account.
